Well, we have returned from the first annual Total Dog Invitational. What a blast! If you ever get the chance to attend this in the future, GO! It was so fun. Spyro was much younger and less accomplished than many other entries but the experience was invaluable. We received qualifying scores in Pre-Novice Obedience and Rally 1. We had some tough luck in Rally 2 with Spyro being distracted by the grass surface that was brought in for the competition. We also placed 3rd in our conformation group.
It was such an honor to get to participate in this event. It's like no other show I've attended and was followed by a beautiful dinner and award banquet. UKC really made everyone feel special just for attending, even if you didn't win the highest honors.
